How Do I Prepare for My Consultation?
Seeing an ENT specialist is a new experience for many of our patients. We want you to get the most out of your time with Dr. Ayala, so here are some ways to prepare:
- Bring copies of your medical records or have your primary physician send them to our office.
- Prepare a list of all medications that you are taking and note the associated medical conditions.
- Keep a symptom journal for about two weeks before the appointment. Note any symptoms, including severity, and methods that you used to alleviate the symptoms.
- Write down any ENT ailments that you have experienced in the last one to two years, including those that you feel may not be related to your current concerns.
What Happens During the Consultation with Dr. Ayala?
In addition to performing a comprehensive examination, Dr. Ayala spends time talking with you about symptoms and ENT conditions that you are experiencing.
